About AFE Chapter 33

Who are we? The Association of Facilities Engineering (AFE) is an organization of facilities directors, facility managers, facility engineers, owners, and operators and dedicated professionals of varied contractors that understand the complexities of our new and aged buildings. We are an organization that is based around sharing information about facilities design, operations, and challenges that face each of our organizations. We are an organization that is centered around networking!

We offer great monthly facility tours, meeting on the fourth Thursday evening of every month at approximately 5:30 PM, that allow us to get behind the scenes of many of the most prestigious and diverse facilities within the Greater Boston Area. We also have speakers after each of our tour dinners for technical presentations regarding some of our most challenging demands placed on facilities personnel.

AFE was established in Boston around 1900 and grew to a national organization. AFE strives to provide the leadership, educational materials, training and certifications that today´s facilities professionals need to stay technically ahead of the rest.

AFE invites all of you to look around and evaluate where you are, what is being offered to you and what the value is. We offer so much to you and your colleagues, you cannot afford to be without what we provide. We invite you to join AFE.  View our membership page for full details.
